Acupuncture

Acupuncure forms the basis of any in-person treatment. After thorough diagnosis using both Eastern and Western techniques, your practitioner will create a personalized point prescription to best treat your presentation.

Electro-stimulation

E-stim is a modern, research backed approach that we have found to be exceedingly effective in addition to standard acupuncture. A tiny current is pulsed through pairs of needles, reaching deeper than TENS units and directly stimulating muscle and nerve fibers.

Cupping

Cupping therapy has been developed independently by every culture across the globe, from the Europeans to the Mayans. At Global, we employ a Korean style taught to us by Dr Park that has proven itself effective for numerous conditions.

Moxibustion

Moixbustion employs dried, sifted Mugwort rolled into various shapes and ignited to stimulate acupoints. It is an invaluable treatment for osteoarthritic conditions, as well as GI and Menstrual complaints.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a tool based massage/scraping technique that originates from China. It is excellent for breaking up muscle adhesions, dispersing lymph fluid, moving the blood, and more.

Tui Na Massage

While a complete treatment modality on it's own, tuina massage is often incorporated after acupuncture treatment to manipulate and persuade wayward joints back into place. These manipulations are generally slow and gentle, unlike Chiropractic adjustments.
